Luna Online's card feature enriches the MMORPG experience by adding a layer of strategy and depth. It offers players new ways to engage with the game world, their characters, and the community, making every adventure unique and thrilling.

Card Socketing System

Players can socket cards into their primary equipment (weapons, armor, accessories) to enhance their stats and abilities.

To attach a card to your equipment, follow these steps:

• Double-click on the item you wish to enhance with a card. This action will open a new window specifically for socketing.

• In the new window, you will see a designated slot for placing your item. Drag and drop your item into this slot.

• After placing the card into the slot, press the confirmation button to complete the process. Your item will now have the enhanced stats or abilities provided by the card.

Each piece of equipment has a certain number of sockets:

One-handed weapon	1
Two-handed weapon	2
Shield	1
Body armor	2
Gloves	1
Boots	1
Necklace	2
Other accessories	1 slot each

When an item has multiple sockets, players cannot use the same type of card in both slots. Each socket must be filled with a different card.

You can only use cards that match the type of equipment. For example, weapon cards can only be used for weapons.

Card Collection

• Monster Drops: Cards are obtainable from all types of monsters encountered since the Gate of Alkers opened, ensuring a steady and varied supply.

• Card Effect: Each card type provides distinct benefits, allowing players to tailor their equipment to suit their playstyle and strategic preferences.

• Variety of Effects: Cards can boost various stats such as attack power, defense, health point, and more.

• To identify which card has the stats you need: - Right-click on the monsters while holding the Ctrl key to view their loot details. - Alternatively, press the "V" key to open the collection window and navigate to the card tab for more information.

Desocketing Cards

The desocketing feature allows players to remove cards from their equipment sockets. This process provides flexibility for players to experiment with different card combinations and adapt their gear to new challenges. However, desocketing comes at a cost, requiring a gold fee.

Desocketing Steps

• Select Equipment: Choose the piece of equipment from which you want to remove a card.

• Confirm Desocketing: Confirm the desocketing action. A prompt will display the gold cost required for the process.

• Card Return: Once desocketed, the card returns to your Item Mall Storage, allowing you to reuse it on another piece of equipment or save it for future use.

• Open Socket: The socket on the equipment becomes available, ready for a new card to be inserted.
